Praestans Global Advisors (“Praestans”) was designed to meet the growing demand amongst entrepreneurs and businesses, that require the highly tailored and sophisticated expertise traditionally offered by large firms, in tandem with receiving the personalized and comprehensive service that a boutique firm is specifically designed to provide.  Our team is comprised of a diverse group of professionals who all believe in the firm’s core value that small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same white-glove treatment provided at large firms.  It is our mission and belief that we invest in our clients and our internal metrics for success are measured by our ability to achieve optimal results for the client.

Our Team

The Praestans team is a carefully selected group of professionals with the diverse training and experience necessary to meet the needs of an ever-expanding range of clientele emergent from an evolving global economy. Our professionals are trained domestically and internationally, fluent in multiple languages, and come with expertise in areas such as common and civil law, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Our philosophy is to confront issues head-on that cross finance, accounting, tax, and the legal profession, both domestically and internationally. We achieve this through cultivating an international network of trusted professionals specializing in finance, accounting, tax, and legal services in countries across the globe. Our contacts and affiliates are vetted not only for their skill and expertise, but also for professional ethics that align with our firm’s core values.

Our approach is to leverage our professional network in order to achieve the results required by our client. A challenge faced by many businesses, especially during initial expansion, is the lack of coordination amongst their legal, tax, finance and accounting professionals who silo themselves to their respective practice areas and jurisdictions. This segmentation inevitably leads to a loss of direct accountability for the overall execution or success of a given project or transaction. In the event that we do not have a relationship with a needed professional in a country, we will find the appropriate expert and coordinate on our client’s behalf the seamless integration of that professional’s involvement.
