At Praestans, Christopher Klug leads the tax group and he co-leads the business consulting, M&A due diligence, and fund administration teams.
Chris has extensive experience in domestic and international taxation, corporate as well as strategic business planning. He frequently handles international business transactions and coordinates with his worldwide network to provide customized and efficient solutions to his clients. Chris has worked in-depth with structuring mergers and acquisitions, private equity funds, and sophisticated corporate and partnership transactions, including cross-border transactions.
Chris has a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the Georgetown University Law Center. He has taught corporate and partnership tax to Master of Accounting students at Siena College. Chris is a frequent speaker on corporate and partnership tax, mergers and acquisitions, international tax, estate planning, and international estate planning, and has authored a number of published articles in these areas.
